In the tournament we will follow the official Finnish Basketball Association rules. However, you can make substitutions when the game in stopped. Also, if the other team is leading by over 30 points they cannot guard the ball in the backcourt after the basket (no full court defense). Futhermore, C-juniors and younger have to use man to man defense (no zone defense). Mini and Micro juniors, all five players have to get back to the half court after made basket. Adults, A- and B-juniors are allowed to use any kind of defense (man to man or zone defense).

Adults, A-, B- and C-juniors playing time is 2 x 20 min running time while younger teams will play 2 x 15 min running time. In the last three minutes of the second half the clock will stop. Both halftime and overtime will last for three minutes. A second overtime is sudden death. Five team fouls / period and one timeout / period.
